Come and be a part of Newcastle’s first ever piano festival! The festival is taking place in Jesmond United Reformed Church from the 29th September to the 1st October 2023. During the course of the weekend there will be eight different events all dedicated to the piano including a Candlelit Concert, a solo recital and masterclass given by renowned concert pianist Sarah Beth Briggs, Piano Yoga and meditation, Piano Poetry, an eight handed piano extravaganza concert and social events where people can come and try the instrument and meet other enthusiasts; truly something for everyone! We are delighted to be holding the festival in Jesmond and our goal is that the festival will become a permanent annual fixture in Newcastle’s already vibrant music scene. We are a small team of two freelance pianists (myself and Annie Ball) with a dream to create something special in the North East and we really hope you can help support by coming along and listening to some fantastic music!
